"A true teacher doesn’t just teach lessons—they inspire dreams, ignite curiosity, and shape the future one student at a time."
Good day everyone,
I am Erica Ampatin, a BEED 1B freshman at Eastern Visayas State University. I chose Elementary Education because teaching is more than a career—it is a calling. I believe education is not just about giving facts, but about inspiring curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. I want to be someone who lights that spark in children’s hearts and minds.
Growing up, I admired teachers who encouraged and supported their students, making learning meaningful and exciting. Their guidance shaped who I am today, and it made me realize that I want to do the same for others. I want to be a teacher who inspires confidence, nurtures dreams, and helps students reach their full potential.
To me, teaching is not only about lessons in books; it is about helping children discover their talents, develop strong values, and grow as individuals. I want to create a classroom where every student feels seen, heard, and encouraged to explore their abilities. Education is a way to open doors, and I want to be someone who holds those doors open for the next generation.
I chose EVSU because it provides a strong foundation for future educators like me. With the guidance of experienced professors and the support of this learning community, I know I will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become a compassionate and effective teacher.
In the future, I see myself standing in front of my own classroom, inspiring children to dream big and reach their goals. I am committed to being a teacher who makes a positive difference, touches lives, and helps shape the next generation into confident, responsible, and caring individuals.
