"Building minds,One dream at a time"BY: LOURICH CABORNAY
"A great teacher doesn’t just teach lessons they ignite curiosity, celebrate creativity, and help every student discover the power of learning."
Good Day to all!
I am Lourich S. Cabornay , a future educator and a 1st year BEED student in EVSU. I want to take some time to share with you my life of an aspiring teacher,my life as a student, and the fulfillment that comes with pursuing to this degree. The first reason why I want to be an aspiring teacher someday is because I’ve seen how one encouraging word from a teacher can boost a child’s confidence. I’ve felt the warmth of learning in a safe and caring classroom. And I want to give that same feeling to others.Teaching allows me to share knowledge, yes—but more importantly, it gives me the chance to guide, to inspire, and to make a difference that goes beyond grades or school years.
The College of Education, especially in our BEEd program, we are not just trained to teach children how to read or write. We are molded to nurture dreams, to guide values, and to shape character.I know that being an elementary teacher means being the first mentor in a child’s educational journey, and that responsibility is both humbling and exciting. It prepares us to be patient, creative, and compassionatequalities I deeply value.
I choose BEEd because I want to be more than a teacher. I want to be a shaper of futures, a builder of dreams. I am proud to be part of a generation of future teachers who understand that education is not confined to four walls. It is a lifelong influence, a legacy of care, and a journey of transformation. It is about connecting with children, understanding their needs, and inspiring them to become the best versions of themselves.
I want to touch lives, inspire minds, and help build a future where every child feels valued and empowered.I enjoy it because it makes me feel grateful and always remember God.
Thank you.
